Terms & Conditions for Buyers

1. General Terms
1.1 Eligibility
By using our platform, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts under South African law.
1.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Lead Purchases
2.1 Lead Service
By purchasing a lead on our platform, you are paying for access to the contact details and listing information of a seller. We do not participate in or guarantee the outcome of any transaction between you and the seller. It is your responsibility to negotiate, inspect, and conclude the purchase of the vehicle directly with the seller within 48 hours of receiving the lead. If you fail to purchase the vehicle within 48 hours and notify us, the lead may be re-listed on the marketplace.
2.2 Payment Terms
All lead payments are made to Four Wheel Deals (Pty) Ltd in advance and are non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete the purchase of the vehicle from the seller. We accept electronic funds transfer (EFT) only.
3. Responsibility & Risk
3.1 Sole Responsibility
By purchasing a lead and engaging with a seller, you assume all responsibility and risk related to inspecting, negotiating, and completing the purchase of the vehicle. As a dealer, you acknowledge and accept that all vehicles are sold on a “voetstoots” (as-is) basis by the seller, unless otherwise agreed with the seller. You are strongly encouraged to perform your own due diligence and inspection before finalising any transaction.
3.2 CPA Compliance
The Consumer Protection Act, 2008 does not apply to dealer-to-dealer transactions. Only vehicles sold directly by Four Wheel Deals (Pty) Ltd under our own name are subject to CPA warranties.
4. Dispute Resolution
We act solely as a facilitator of lead information and are not a party to any sale contract between you and the seller. Accordingly, we are not liable for any disputes arising between you and the seller. Any disputes between buyer and seller should be resolved between those parties directly.
